         With nearly 20 years of professional body piercing experience, I have witnessed how deeply significant piercing can be.

        It is often far more than a fashion statement. 

Body piercing can facilitate finding inner strength by facing the fear and doing it anyway. 

   Many have been oppressed and restricted from their own autonomy by parents, jobs or relationships and   finally having the freedom to choose what you want to do and how you want to decorate your earthly vessel and show up in the world is so powerful.

 Self expression and individual identity are driving factors for many who get piercings.

 Sometimes we get pierced in remembrance of a time or an event or even to honour a lost loved one.

         It can be a time of transformation in your life and a physical act of saying goodbye to the old you and welcoming in something new and shiny.

Piercing is a valid form of self-love and self-care as much as going to the hairdressers or booking a spa day is.

But the act of piercing over the years has led to so many clients sat in my studio pouring their hearts out to me. People from all walks of life with their own adventures,  sorrows and emotion.

Sat in my chair, they all have one thing in common, a  yearning to adorn themselves with something beautiful to mark a significant moment in their lives. 

Many of the stories have come with me through my life and shaped the piercer I am today. Many of the people that brought those stories became valued and loyal friends. 

    Things that show up time and time again though is how many people are getting a new piercing as an act of reclamation of their body, of their autonomy and as an act of controlling some pain in their life that helps them move past something that has been causing their entire being to be out of balance. Something I myself have worked hard on for myself, understanding more about myself, allowing all of my emotions and gaining knowledge and wisdom about the importance of letting it all move through our bodies and not rest there indefinitely. 

All of my learning and thirst for a greater understanding of how to help me heal myself has awoken something in me. After months of hard work and soaking in every bit of knowledge I can get my hands on something switched on and it finally brought me to a place of understanding that I can offer more help for the people on this same kind of healing journey and that I can offer something different to many other practitioners. 

   I have combined my experience as a professional body piercer with my training in reiki and my long-standing personal practice of tarot and oracle cards to create intentional experiences that nurture body mind and spirit.

This is not just a piercing,  this is creating space for your healing, it is signalling to the universe that you are ready to step into your next chapter. 

In a world where there is so much disconnect, discontent and dishonesty, it is so important to strive to make     meaningful connections, live a life filled with joy and contentment and inner peace and to do that with a truthful knowing in yourself that you are worthy.
